Kohl's peanut brittle
Yield: 1 Serving
Ingredients:
- 2 c Sugar
- 2 c Karo (red label) syrup
- 1/2 c Hot water
- 1 Lump of butter (about 1 tb)
- 1/2 lb Or more raw peanuts - rolled with a rolling pin
- 1 ts Baking soda
Instructions:
Boil sugar syrup water and butter until golden brown stirring often. Add baking soda to the raw peanuts. Grease a cookie sheet. Pour peanuts into the syrup. Remove from the fire AT ONCE. Pour on on the greased cookie sheet smoothing over into a thin layer. When cooled crack up into serving pieces.
