Shrimp fried with batter *** vxfr40b
Yield: 3 Servings
Ingredients:
- 12 ea Shrimp
- 1 c Garlic
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1 tb Ginger root
- 1 c Flour
- 4 1/2 ts Baking soda
- 2 tb Cornstarch
- 6 tb Oil
- 1 c Water ; or beer ( approx.)
- 1 x Oil; for deep frying
- 1 x Gren onion; cut lengthwise
Instructions:
Shell shrimp but leave the tail segment of the shell butterfly shrimp and devein. Crush garlic with salt to a >> paste and rub into shrimp sprinkle with a little ginger root Blend flour baking powder cornstacrh; add oil gradually while stirring. Stir until mixture forms a ball. Add water a little at a time while srirring until the mixture has the consistancy of pancake batter. Heat oil dip each shrimp into the batter and fry two or three at a time until golden brown. drain before >> serving.
