Rice almandine
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 md Onion chopped
- 2 ts Butter
- 1 1/4 c Chicken broth
- 1 tb Lemon juice
- 1/2 ts Garlic powder
- 1 1/2 c MINUTE (R) Instant Brown Rice
- 1 c Frozen green beans thawed
- 2 tb Toasted sliced almonds
- 1/2 ts Dill
- 1>. Cook and stir onion in butter until tender. Add broth lemon juice and garlic powder. Bring to boil.
- 2>. Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 3>. Stir in green beans
Instructions:
almonds and dill; cover. Let stand 5 minutes.
