Wyoming sheepherder chili
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3 lb Ground beef
- 4 tb Dried onions
- 1/4 c Chili powder
- 1 tb Cumin
- 2 tb Worcestershire
- 1 ts Garlic powder
- 1/4 ts Cayenne pepper Salt Black pepper
- 1 ts Oregano
- 1 ts Vinegar
- 1 cn Stewed tomatoes
- 1 cn Tomato sauce
Instructions:
Water as necessary Brown the meat in a heavy pot drain off the fat and add all the other ingredients. Simmer for at least 2 hours adding water as needed. Thicken with flour if desired (preferably Masa Harina or ground-up corn tortillas). Serve over rice.
