Parmesan pine cone
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 c Sliced Almonds
- 12 oz Cream Cheese Softened
- 1/2 c Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 c Mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 ts Fresh Oregano Chopped Or:
- 1/2 ts Dried Oregano
- 1 sm Crushed Garlic Clove
Instructions:
Crackers 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spread almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast in oven shaking pan once or twice until almonds are lightly browned 7 to 10 minutes. Cool. >>> 2. In a medium bowl or in a food processor combine cream cheese Parmesan cheese mayonnaise oregano and garlic. Blend until well mixed. Refrigerate until firm but still pliable about 1 hour. 3. Place cheese mixture on a serving board or platter and form into shape of a pine cone. Stud top with toasted slivered almonds to complete illusion. Serve with crackers.
