Peggy's mom's chili sauce
Yield: 1 Many jars
Ingredients:
- 12 qt Basket of Tomatoes
- 12 x Good Sized Onions
- 2 x Sweet Peppers
- 3 x Hot Peppers
- 1 x Celery Stalk
- 3 lb Sugar
- 5 tb Salt
- 1 ts Mustard
- 1 pn White Wine Vinegar
- 1/4 lb Whole Pickling Spice
Instructions:
(in cheesecloth bag) Chop all vegetables and put in a large pickling pot. Add remaining ingredients and boil for about 3 hours or longer if you want it thicker. From the kitchen of Peggy and Bruce Travers Cyberealm BBS Watertown NY 315-786-1120
