Fiesta meatloaf
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c Onion chopped
- 1/2 c Celery chopped
- 1/4 c Green pepper chopped
- 1 tb Vegetable oil
- 1 cn Chili sauce heinz 12 oz
- 1 1/2 lb Ground beef very lean
- 1 c Bread crumbs
- 2 tb Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Pepper
Instructions:
Saute onion and celery and green pepper in oil until vegetables are just soft. remove from heat. stir into chili sauce combine 1/2 vegetable sauce mix with ground beef bread crumbs egg worcestershire sauce salt and pepper. shape into a loaf on a shallow oven proof dish. bake 350 1 hour. let stand 5 minutes. heat remaining sauce. slice meat loaf pour remaining sauce over slices.
