Beef barley skillet
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1/4 lb Hamburger
- 4 tb Chopped onion
- 2 tb Chopped celery
- 2 tb Chopped green pepper
- 1/8 ts Tyme
- 1/4 ts Sugar
- 1/2 ts Worchestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tb Chile sauce
- 2/3 c Canned tomatoes
- 1/2 c Water
- 1/4 c Pearl barley
Instructions:
salt&pepper Saute beef onion celery and green pepper. Pour off fat and stir in rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil then turn down heat and simmer until barley is cooked.
