Tavern beef
Yield: 8 Servings -
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 lb Ground beef;lean
- 1 lg Onion;peeled and quartered
- 1 c Ketchup
- 1 ts Chili powder
- 1 ts Dry mustard
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 2 c Beef broth;or water
- 8 Hamburger buns;toasted
Instructions:
In a skillet brown and crumble ground beef; drain well. Place beef and remaining ingredients except hamburger rolls in a crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 12 hours. Taste for seasoning before serving and correct if necessary. Spoon over toasted hamburger buns.
