Italian meatloaf sandwich

1... Preheat the oven to 350~ F. Oil a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. 2... In a bowl soak the bread crumbs in 2/3 cup tomato sauce until the sauce has been absorbed. Add beef egg garlic Parmesan salt and pepper to taste.Pack into prepared loaf pan. 3...Bake 45 minutes. Pour off drippings and spoon the remaining 1/3 c tomato sauce over the loaf. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer. If serving warm let rest in pan for 10 minutes. 4... While the loaf is cooking heat oil and butter in a large skillet. Saute the onions and peppers until just wilted. Season lightly with salt and pepper. 5... Invert meatloaf on a board and slice. Split the rolls and warm them.
