Shells with creamy wine sauce
Yield: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 c Medium seashell macaroni -- Uncooked
- 1/4 c Minced onion
- 1/4 c Water
- 1/4 c Chablis or other dry white Wine
- 1/4 c Neufchatel cheese with herbs
Instructions:
And spices Ground pepper Vegetable cooking spray Cook pasta according to package directions omitting the salt and fat. Drain cooked pasta and set aside. Coat a saucepan with cooking spray and place over medium heat until hot. Add onion; saute 2 minutes or until tender. Add water and wine and cook 1 minute. Add cheese and cook 1 minute or until well blended stirring with a wire whisk. Add pasta tossing gently to coat. Cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated stirring constantly. Sprinkle with pepper.
