Penne with spinach & ham
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Penne pasta
- 3 tb Olive oil
- 1 ts Garlic-flavored oil
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/2 ts Crushed red pepper
- 1 pk (10 oz.) fresh spinach -coarsely chopped
- 1 lb Smoked ham cut into -1x1/4-inch-thick strips
- 1 1/2 c Shredded sharp Cheddar
Instructions:
-cheese 1. Cook pasta according to package directions. 2. Meanwhile combine oils salt and red pepper in large bowl. 3. Drain pasta in colander reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Add hot pasta with reserved pasta water to bowl tossing with oil mixture spinach ham and cheese until spinach wilts and cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.
