Pasta with broccoli
Yield: 4 Servings - G
Ingredients:
- 1 md Head fresh broccoli
- 3 tb Butter
- 1/4 c Olive oli
- 4 Cloves garlic minced or 4 -tb ready chopped garlic
- 1 md Onion chopped
- 1/2 c White wine or chicken broth Salt & fresh grnd pepper -to taste
- 12 oz Pasta cooked
Instructions:
Grated cheese for topping Wash and cut broccoli into bite size pieces. Cook in salted water until crisp. Drain well and set aside. In a pan melt butter in olive oil. Sautee onion until translucent. Add garlic and simmer for 1 minute. Add broccoli and wine or broth and simmer 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper. In a large bowl mix drained pasta with broccoli mixture. Toss well. Serve immediately with grated cheese for topping.
