Onion relish
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients:
- 2 lb Sweet onions lg. -chopped
- 2 Celery stalks -sliced
- 1 Sweet red pepper -chopped
- 1 tb Butter -melted
- 3/4 c Vinegar cider
- 1/4 c -water
- 2 tb Brown sugar
- 1 ts Celery seeds
- 1/4 ts Salt
Instructions:
Saute cnion celery and red pepper in butter in a small Dutch oven 1 minutes or until tender. Add vinegar and remaining ingredients. Bring boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Store in refrigerator. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Yield: 1-quart
