Old-fashioned green beans
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 6 Bacon strips cut into 1/2" - pieces
- 2 lb Fresh green beans
- 3 tb Brown sugar
- 1/2 c Water
Instructions:
In a large skiller cook bacon over medium heat until crisp-tender about 5 minutes. Add beans brown sugar and water. Stir gently; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender. Remove to a serving bowl with a slotted spoon.
