Linguini with tomato-basil sauce
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 4 Cloves garlic -- peeled and Minced
- 3 tb Olive oil
- 3 c Italian plum tomatoes -- Coarsely chopped Salt and pepper -- to taste
- 18 oz Linguini -- or other thin Pasta
- 1 bn Fresh basil leaves -- no Stems chopped
- 12 tb Parmesan cheese -- freshly
Instructions:
Grated Saute garlic in olive oil until golden but not brown. Add tomatoes salt and pepper and simmer over med. heat for 20 min. Meanwhile prepare pasta according to package. When sauce is done simmering remove from heat and stir in basil. Toss pasta with sauce and serve. Top with cheese. Recipe By : Shape - May 1995
