Bus network
<networking> A network in which all nodes are connected to a single wire (the bus).
The two endpoints will have a terminator.
Bus networks typically use CSMA/CD techniques to determine which node transmits data on the wire at any given time.
Examples are Ethernet 10Base2 and 10Base5 networks.
See also star network, ring network.
